A while ago I bought this SilverStone digital to analogue converter to run from the computer. This connects via USB and is recognised by windows as a USB speaker. It then converts the signal to analogue before passing it (via RCAs) to the amps.The benefit is that the unit is far more effecient as converting the signal than my on board sound card and as a result I get cleaner sound and much less feedback.
